Biography
Mark Bray is a multi-instrumentalist and artist who explores art and music’s experimental and visionary aspects. He creates imaginary landscapes, patterns, and soundtracks that assist in traveling to the deepest regions of inner space.
Born in Indiana, Mark was raised on rock and trained on classical piano while deeply appreciating abstract and surrealist art. After living in Boston and experiencing an overwhelming amount of culture in New England and New York, Mark moved to the San Francisco Bay Area.
There he worked with multiple art collectives and participated in art shows and craft fairs. Graffiti culture, psychedelic music, and the ocean have been a huge influence and have allowed his creativity to explode.
After 17 years in California, Mark made the journey back to the Midwest to settle around the creative city of Cincinnati in the little town of Loveland, OH. Here Mark has nurtured and continued the journey through rainbow spirals and abstract visions.
Mark is currently continuing the Rainbow Spiral series of paintings, performing with his various musical projects, and running his art, music, and apparel brand, Crystaleyezed Fine Arts.
